General Information

Gary is a KC approved Championship Show Judge, hence eligible to judge Bernese Mountain Dogs at Championship Show Level and award Challenge Certificatesin the UK; With this, he is also eligible to judge under FCI rules in foreign countries.

Gary has judged at Championship Show Level in the UK, Denmark and Norway so far; he is also on the B list for Newfoundlands and has judged a large variety of breeds at Open Show Level within the UK.

Southern Newfoundland Breed Club Open Show 2024

Gary judged Newfoundlands at the Southern Newfoundland Club's Open Show on Saturday 4th May 2024...he found his Best Male and Best in Show in Sandbears Fourty Four JW, with Reserve Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show going to his Kennel Mate - Sandbears Pole Position ...His Best Bitch and Best Opposite Sex was Mileoak Loch Noir and Best Veteran in Show was Zentaur Der kapitan Wisperdomen JW.

Richmond Championship Show -2023

Gary judged Bernese at Richmond Championship Show on Sunday 10th September 2023; he found his Best of Breed and Best Veteran in Ch Kernow All My Loving VW (a bitch he had previously given the Res CC and Best Veteran) and his Dog CC in the round dog Krimm Bernenska Sfora At Kernow. With Ch Kernow All My Loving VW going on to win the Veteran Group at 9 years of age. - what an achievement!

Norway - Torpomoen - Norwegian Bernese Mountain Dog Club Show 4th/5th June 2022

Day 1 Gary judged the Males in which he found his Best Male in N DK SE UCh Bernerutsikten's Dancing Oliver, who then went onto win Best in Show under Marian Scott.
On the second day, he judged the females and Best in Show, in which his Best female and Best in Show was N S DK Nord CH Ana Athene Mi Amore Av Hiselfoss.

Denmark - Herlufsholm - DBSK Club Show - 27th/28th November 2021

Day 1: Gary judged the Males and Best in Show (BIR)...With this he found his Best Male in SeUCh DKUCh Lad's Norbert Edison (Right on First Picture) and Best In Show was Leena's Best female SeUch DKCh Bernljungens It's Pimpim; On the second day, she was also his Best Female and then went onto win Best In Show again, under Leena Pawlyszyn.

The National Dog Show - September 2021

Best Male and Dog CC - Ch Shirdees Greatest Showman at Jukesbern (made up on the day), with the Best Bitch/Best of Breed and Group Shortlist was the now Ch Bernfawr Jonquill, winning her second CC on the day.
